Nestled amidst the luxuriant rainforests of the Mexican Caribbean and upon the shores of a glittering turquoise sea, lies a place like no other in the world: Xcaret, meaning "small inlet" in Maya. This spectacular eco-park in the heart of the Riviera Maya was for more than ten centuries one of the most important Mayan harbour and ceremonial centres.

Testimonials

Stephani y Jason, June 21st, 2012.
Even thought there were some challenges we getting everything we wanted the event was perfect. Service of Xcaret staff was the best part overall.

Stacey and Javier, April 13th, 2012.
Honestly, I can't put into words how much I enjoyed last night. I was told by everyone that it was the perfect, best wedding that they had been to. We had such a lovely time, and the best part was that everything went exactly as planned. Thank you! You are great at your jobs!

Locations

St. Francis of Assisi Chapel
The Chapel is legally recognized by the Catholic Church, reason why Xcaret is one of the few places in the Mexican Caribbean to offer a ceremony with Catholic validity.

The Ponds
This is an impressive area of natural, rocky ponds acting as wave breakers, which can be the perfect scenery for a civil or religious ceremony (except Catholic) as you may find a beautiful stone altar to which you may have access by descending beautiful rustic stairs.

Other Locations
There are diverse areas within Xcaret which stand out for their mysticism, nature and history. The spectacular landscape they offer for cocktail parties or civil and/or religious (non-Catholic) ceremonies will create a lasting memory in every one of your guests.

Post-Reception Party (After Hours Party)
And after the party, the great closing!
The service for the "After Hours Party" is held at the "Dos Playas" Restaurant beach, amidst white cushions and tall bar tables in addition to an extraordinary atmosphere achieved when combining elements such as the sand, sea, robotic lights, a star-filled deep blue sky, DJ music, among other features. We offer different options of typical Mexican hors d'ouvres for the "After Hours".
The "After Hours" area is ideal for this service for a group of 50 to 150 guests.

After the beautiful wedding, the great celebration.

What could be better than impressing your guests with a mystical environment in an impressive natural cavern, or in an area with a view to the beach. An event as no one else can provide, unparalleled natural scenery, regional performers or pre-Hispanic dancers, the best food and a wide variety of beverages…and everything you deserve on the most important day of your life!

"La Isla" is a beautiful natural cavern you can reach through the "Conch" which is a 100 meter long spiral trail that resembles the curve of life. This is exactly where the cavern connects by way of several caves to the glass bridge, under which underground rivers flows; and this is only the beginning of the amazing surroundings that La Isla offers.
Once inside "La Isla" restaurant, you can feel the grandeur of its two levels, with a capacity for events of up to 600 guests. In addition to these natural wonders, "La Isla" has an amazing palm roof which stands out for its size. On the Underground River you may detect the endless sparkles of floating candles softly swaying.

1. Do I have to pay the Xcaret Park Admission when I attend a wedding there?
No, wedding guests have special access and do not need to pay Park Admission unless they wish to spend the day there.
The areas where weddings take place are already assigned according to the bride and groom’s choices thus guests will always be at the place assigned for the ceremony, cocktail, reception or after wedding ceremony depending on the case.

2. Do the Saint Francis of Assisi Chapel and the Chapel of Guadalupe have recognition by the Catholic Church?

Yes, both Chapels have a decree of ecclesiastical recognition as semi-public chapels given by the Cancun Prelature in Chetumal. Only a select number of chapels in the Riviera Maya have this Church validity.

3. Do you offer any other kinds of events besides weddings?
Yes, we can organize a variety of special events such as Baptisms, Fifteen year old celebrations (Quince años) and Graduations. The options of locations, restaurants, food and beverages and event times are the same as the ones we offer for Weddings.

4. What assistance do the Event coordinators give?
The Special event coordinators at Xcaret Park will take care of the logistics and operation of the services offered by the Park and will oversee the areas assigned for the event. They can also recommend some supplier contacts for additional services not offered by the Park.

5. Do the Event coordinators take care of the paper work and arrangements needed for the religious or Legal Ceremony?
The Special Event Coordinators take care of the areas and services offered by Xcaret Park, but will very gladly provide contact information for a Priest, Justice of the Peace or Minister depending on each particular case.
