See the apiary of the Melipona bee and the traditional Maya method of encapsulating the hive in a hollow log, Xel-Ha celebrates the traditional harvest of honey 2 times a year, in June and December.
Xel-Ha is a universe dedicated to the ecology and preservation of flora and fauna of the region, which is why we constantly develop environmental education programs, and protection and conservation of the environment programs, including the conservation program of the queen conch, endangered animal, a recycler of waste generated in public areas and a treatment plant to recycle wastewater.
